Hot Takes

Visual identity for integrated marketing campaign

Mission

Develop a custom visual identity that unifies Skillable's "Hot Takes" integrated marketing campaign across all marketing channels.

Creative Approach

I oversaw and developed the creative look and feel for this campaign and executed across all marketing channels. This project required the visual identity to remain simple and adjacent to Skillable's branding while still being unique from other assets. My solution utilized Skillable's primary green, cream, and yellow brand colors with the introduction of hot pink, curating a warmer look and playing off the fire theme for Hot Takes. This visual system also included Skillable's primary typeface in both Regular and Bold, while intentionally leaving out the brand's serif font for a bolder design style.

 

Campaign System 

The branding for this campaign was executed seamlessly across 7 channels, including organic and paid LinkedIn, Reddit ads, landing page, email, apparel, and our interactive content tool Foleon, leveraged for this campaign's pillar content asset.

 

Impact  

Design played a pivotal role in this campaign by supporting campaign goals through translating messaging and strategy into compelling and cohesive visuals across all marketing touchpoints. I also created the campaign's pillar content asset in Foleon, moving from concept to final approval in just 2 weeks, shortly after onboarding the tool. Design efforts throughout this campaign supported high audience engagement, particularly Reddit ads, consistently exceeding SaaS industry benchmark engagement rate.
